<\/p>\n<\/p>Start developing a daily creative routine that is easy and sustainable, and remember that whenever you make time for creating, your heart, mind, and soul are a little bit lighter, happier, and more of you. Recognise the importance of performing it early morning as a strategy to boost your daily writing practice and unleash your creativity. Use the same process and devote 10 to 15 minutes in the early hours to nothing but creating. No regulations; no standards. Only set aside time, a few basic tools, and your own personal embellishments. You could start out doing this just for fun and to create art, but you\u2019ll be astonished by the unanticipated lessons you pick up along the road.\n

Here are four lessons I\u2019ve picked up through regularly exercising my imagination.<\/strong><\/p>\n Increased confidence <\/strong><\/p>\n Surprisingly, I discovered that making room for experimentation gave me the freedom to take chances with my art that I had previously been reluctant to. I\u2019ve been able to test new materials, methods, and applications since daily practice lowers the threshold for creating art, transforming it from valuable to fun. By approaching my painting as play, I am able to let go of my anxiety and pressure to be flawless and simply enjoy the practice.<\/p>\n I\u2019m taking more chances and putting myself on the line in ways I never would have believed possible because of how I see art as play and my willingness to attempt new things in other areas of my life as well. A large part of it, in my opinion, is played by setting aside some time each day to reflect on and create.<\/p>\n Improved skills <\/strong><\/p>\n I began this practise as a mental diversion, never considering myself to be an artist. I can clearly notice a big difference in my skills when I compare the work I\u2019ve done recently to when I started. Although I\u2019m still far from being able to describe myself as an artist, making myself practise every day has surprised me in the ways in which it has enhanced my work.<\/p>\n My desire to study has grown as my abilities have. Recently, I started attending classes both offline and online to help me perfect my skill. I have become both more vulnerably and more enthused about producing as a result of being subjected to new methods! In the coming year, I\u2019m looking forward to doing a lot more studying and exploring.<\/p>\n The fun of playing <\/strong><\/p>\n I have always designed my house and clothing in original ways since I am a fan of color and pattern. These days, picking a color scheme and experimenting with unique combinations are my favorite aspects of doing creative work. Some of them succeed, while others fail, but once more, because I do it every day, I\u2019m learning to adore taking chances and doing novel things to discover what makes me happy.<\/p>\n Even bad art may be good <\/strong><\/p>\n When I originally began this project, I believed that if I didn\u2019t produce something I was proud of, my time would have been wasted. Because these early morning minutes aren\u2019t about the work, I now fail more often than I succeed. Rarely do I create something I enjoy right away, but I\u2019ve grown to accept that I do it for the act of creating, the joy it offers me, and the serenity it adds to my day. Whether the artwork is bad or good? That is not the issue. I keep returning because of the process, which is what matters.<\/p>\n I created my daily creative activity as a means to keep my hands occupied and include play into my everyday routine. I\u2019m staying with it because it makes my days happier, more educational, and more peacefully paced.
